A glimpse

... of our dear Tiny Baby. He or she appears to be healthy and strong--even a little on the big side if you can believe such a child could emerge from our line of under-7-pounders. We'll see about that ...

C and L were delighted to see their littlest sib's photos, but their favorite part of the outing was the brunch of chocolate milk and pancakes after our appointment.

We're still on track for mid-December and we've begun thumbing through baby-name books in earnest now. Hmm ... Ernest has a nice ring to it.

Even after peeking at those bony knees, wriggling toes and that sweet bulbous head today, it's hard for me to believe I'm falling in love with yet another son or daughter. How can my already full heart be capable of pouring out more?

I know it just is. I find that nothing short of staggering.

  1. Beautiful. I think that as long as we empty ourselves of us and become vessels for the Spirit we are given infinite and boundless love. I have found in my personal life's journey that love begets love, the more you give the more you're given to give again. I love my tiny new grandbaby so much already, too.

  2. Oh! Precious! (You know, you're really not helping my baby lust here.)
