Fun with friends and first food

We went to a birthday party for two of Miss L's buddies who turned 2 today. It was a beautiful morning and the party, which was held at a playground near our house, was absolutely exhausting. L got to take home a new sandbox pail with a banana and purple race car in it, a pink balloon and a belly full of cake.

Also today, Little C tried some solid food. He thought it was wonderful but didn't actually consume any of it. It's so fun to see a person experience something so basic for the very first time.
