As of 8 p.m. east-coast time I haven't heard from Mom and Dad today, but found some pictures of home online. These are courtesy of the Seattle Times. You can see the mud they're having to contend with. Dad is trying to clear a section of road in our neighborhood with a borrowed green tractor. The other photo is taken from the far corner of our backyard, looking at the back of the house. Someone's table got stuck in one of the apple trees. The property is unrecognizable except for the house and Mom and Dad's truck and trailer. I hope to hear more from them at least through my brother and sister sometime tonight or tomorrow. Apparently I-5 is expected to be closed through the weekend. I'm not sure how groceries and other supplies will get through to the area in the meantime. What a mess.
Barry is always working hard. The pictures and videos online are gut wrenching. Thank you for the updates on your family. I will continue to keep them in my prayers. Love you.
