Today was our school's annual Thanksgiving fun run. At just above 40 degrees at 8 a.m., it was a brisk start.

The competition was fierce.
Some were hardy enough to go bare-legged.
Others wore sensible running attire and managed to win first place for third-grade girls.

Still others were just happy to have completed the one-miler without slowing to a walk.

It was a beautiful morning and we all had fun with family and friends.
Looks like the family had a fun morning. I hope the photographer had fun, too. I can't believe the leaves are still so pretty considering we enjoyed seeing those gorgeous hues when we visited 2 weeks ago.
