This week, the leaves started dropping and they won't start stopping until at least December.
The raking is relentless.
Thankfully, at a dollar-a-bag, our Lili has become a workhorse with a rake.

She even came up with this clever invention to aid in the bag-filling.
(In case you were wondering, her parent-teacher conference went very well. Are you surprised? Me neither.)

Henry was helpful with today's raking session, too.
He whined for a rake, then raked for 30 seconds before discovering a dead mouse in the grass and gave up on raking all-together.
(No cash is given for finding decaying rodents. But he did receive cool points for the amount of grossness we all got to enjoy from his discovery.)
He earned a dollar for his raking contribution today.
Not to mention: He discovered the cutest way to pose for a picture inside the leaf bag.
He also happened to take the most creative photos of the afternoon.
(His parent-teacher conference also went well. He's bright, likes to chat and works hard, too.)
