Field trip II: Baltimore

About a week ago, we took an overnight field trip to Baltimore to meet up with some dear old friends and to enjoy the harbor, the aquarium and the food crabs.

It's always a little harried, taking three small kiddos into a big city, to a fancy-pants hotel.

Getting stuck in the rotating glass doors, nearly wandering into moving traffic and inadvertently dumping a glass of ice water underneath the lobby's chess table were just par for the course.

Overall, this latest East Coast field trip was a great time. Here's a little taste.

  4. Ok, after Beau and I spending countless!! moments while dating all over Baltimore......you just continue to peak my interest at moving to the DC area. Still a little freaked out, though.

  5. Many years ago we went to the aquarium and there was a beluga whale that made quite an impression on my girls and was a great teaching lesson when we came home.

  6. Ah, we've been up to Baltimore twice for the aquarium, and now I wish we'd made at least one trip up there for other sight-seeing! :) Looks like fun, and I, too, love that first picture of your girly!
