1. It's hot here and sitting on my big rubber ball in front of the computer doesn't do much to help my cause, even if I angle the fan just so. Therefore, my quick takes for our final week of summer will be, well, quick.
2. We're hanging out with family visiting from out of town this week and we intend to squeeze out every last ounce of sand, surf, grass, pools and frozen treats as we head into Labor Day and the start of our fall routine.
3. Here are some things we intend to savor and hang onto even as the seasons shift:
Afternoons at the pool.
4. Picnics
5. Frozen treats
6. Taking everything outside
7. Next week, L starts ballet, I start Community Bible Study and C starts gymnastics. We have high hopes for an enriching new season of learning and playing.
I hope your first tastes of fall are sweet and your last bits of summer keep you warm long after the weather turns.
As always, for more quick takes, check out this.
I was sorry to see the short verbage but loved the pictures. What will you be studying at CBS?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure yet what we're studying. Until Thursday, I didn't even think I'd be able to get in because there's usually a waiting list, so this was an answer to specific prayer.
