The backyard has a siren song these days.
It's repetitive and seductive, promising an intoxicating mix of sunshine and shade, bird songs and critter-spottings.
It teases us with 80-degree air and spring flora.
It flaunts verdant sprouts. It spits in the face of winter.
The allure is impossible for us to ignore.
So we don't.
We embrace it in spite of the calendar.
And it suits us fine.
Looks like such fun!!
ReplyDeleteBackyards are PERFECT this time of year! This is the best part of daylight savings time -- getting more sunlight for after-dinner playing.
