She knew about it, but rarely was interested in more than just a quick glimpse at her pictures and the occasional telling of a story I'd written about her.
Then she caught sight of the computer monitor over my shoulder yesterday and saw the photo essays I'd posted earlier in the week about her brothers.
They were funny. They were charming. They were flattering. She wanted in on the action.
Where was her photo essay? If she did something adorable would I take some pictures and write about it, too?
Here's what she came up with in the backyard, which has now become the center ring, the midway, the stage...
Here is her turn in the spotlight:
The circus
"Ladies and gentleman! Children of all ages. Welcome to my circus!"
"I will entertain and amaze you with astonishing tricks -- "
"one-of-a-kind talents seen nowhere else on earth."
"You'll be in awe of my acrobatic feats."
"You're certain to laugh at my clown antics."
"My graceful dance moves are sure to delight."
"And when I'm done, you'll agree..."
"This is the greatest show on earth!"

She has become quite the showgirl for the cameras these days. I love the Chinese hat the best. Very graceful arms and toe points. Tell her I love her so much...
ReplyDeleteBrava! Brava!
ReplyDeleteAnd I couldn't help but notice, little L has perfect ballerina feet. Check out that point!
What a great performance!!! I do have to say she looks much cuter in it than C.
ReplyDeleteWhat a vivacious little girl! I love it! :)
