C is 2 today!

 

 

 

Today brings our family yet another spring birthday to celebrate. C is 2!

Just look at these pictures and you'll see that only a year ago he was a baby and now he's a boy. I'm not sure when that happened, but here he is.

N and I weren't sure we could love a second baby the way we did our first, but then we met C. This little boy has been nothing short of a blessing to our family. I don't know what to say about him today, except that I completely adore him.

He is tender. He is active. He is adventurous. He is attentive. He is snuggly. He is very, very messy. And I'm not sure, but I think he is the finest boy ever made--at least in my humble opinion.

And to C, who will someday read the bound version of this silly experiment in documenting our family's history: Many, many happy returns of this day, little boy! I love you.
