Swirling rain and wind bands have moved west of us on the weather map and it's just a little gusty and drizzly here now. Finally.
At 6:15 local news sources were warning folks in a five-mile radius (which encompassed our neighborhood) of a tornado that was making its way northward. I cleared out a closet and stocked it with a flashlight and blankets just in case. After about 15 minutes the National Weather Service lifted the warning and everything was back to normal. Kind of a crazy afternoon.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
Praise God for His comfort, care, and provisions. Now we're really glad you're moving away from that kind of weather.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you all survived the storm..it sounded like a doosie!! I hope that your house sells soon and you can get settled in your new home in S.D. We will miss you as we will head down to JAx in about a year or so...
