... rode the trolley from the historic district to downtown. The 50-cent, 10-minute ride was worth oodles of conversation about what grown-ups do all day in the city, where they eat, work, etc. We ate crappy pizza at the Landing on the river, rode the escalators and played at a toy store, then hopped on the trolley for the short trip home. Next time L wants to ride the "up-top" train--a monorail that goes across the river to the other bank. Who knew getting from A to B could be so entertaining?
