Father-daughter dance

On Saturday N took L to our church's annual father-daughter Valentine's dance. She wore her twirly purple dancing dress and papa donned a lavender tie to match. He bought her a little orchid to wear on her wrist and they walked hand-in-hand in the moonlight to the church--N said that was the best part. They danced a few songs, then L was overwhelmed by the loud music and the lively tweenie-boppers and had a melt down, so they decided to dance outside, where there wasn't so much activity. L got to carry a red balloon home and shared her Chex party mix and some cookies at the snack table. A very sweet night indeed.

  1. What a beautiful picture of papa and L. The little orchid is so special. I'm so happy that you took her to this and hope it is just the first of many special dates with your princess.
