Sore neck

Please keep us in your prayers this week. Miss L's neck is feeling sore and she is on antibiotics as of this afternoon for treatment of what appears to be an infection in her lymph node. We hope the medicine takes hold of that nastiness and demolishes it so we won't have to take any further steps. She had to have some blood drawn today, which she was not a great fan of (picture my squeezing screaming L in my lap, holding down her arm while C wails in the stroller, all the while trying to speak soothing words to both of them, which could not be heard over the ear-drum-blowing screeching). A purple bandage and a matching lollipop for L and Mama's arms for C made two minutes of sheer terror seem like just a bump in the road for them after all was said and done. I'm so proud of their coping skills. We see our pediatric nurse practitioner (she's fabulous) on Thursday for an update and will share more then. Again, prayers are needed for anxious mama.
