In the course of my blogging I received a call from L's nurse practitioner and she had good news. L's white blood cell count looked great and her body is doing a beautiful job fighting off this minor infection all by itself. Now we have to decide whether to start the antibiotics treatment or let it run its course.
It is such a wonderful thing to have a health-care provider who cares enough to call us at home with test results as soon as they are available. This woman sure knows what it's like to be a mom with a sick kiddo. Praide God for her and for good news!
Indeed we have so much for which to be thankful. I will keep Lili lifted a little extra in prayer this week. And I continue to thank our Father for His continuous outpouring of strength, faithfulness, love, mercy, grace, and wisdom to you and Nicholas as you parent my beautiful grandbabies.
