An unexpected trip came up for Nick (Gamiz, not Saint) on Christmas Eve, so we wondered if our kiddos would mind celebrating a little earlier than we'd expected.
We told Lili and Calvin: "There's a very brief, but very important flight Papa needs to take for the Navy on Christmas Eve. Would you mind if we did just the presents part of Christmas tomorrow morning instead of on December 25th?"
They said: "OK!"
The kids thought a couple of extra strategically placed notes may help Santa got the word to hit our house a night early.
And do you know what? He obliged.
Santa's nothing if not flexible. I mean, if he can get into a house like ours without a chimney, then visiting a night early was hardly an imposition.

Joy to you all, no matter where (or when) you're celebrating!

Santa just loves military families and he will certainly accommodate you in any way he can! I love this story.
