As we speak, our life is being wrapped in newspaper, stuffed in cardboard boxes and labeled with a black Sharpie in hopes of landing safely in its proper destination. Let's hope it does.

3. On Sunday we're setting out on the mother of all road trips, starting from our home at the southern-most tip of California, and ending at our new home in the nation's capital.

6. Here's Nick's proposed route. I think we should stay on I-40 through Knoxville, then head north from there. Any recommendations?

ReplyDeleteI-40 will take you directly up and over many mountains, through Asheville NC....which is where my parents live. It's a beast of a drive in that area, scenic if that's what you're going for.....definitely not a straight highway if that's what you want.
