Today is set aside for recognizing Dr. King, who has become as much a beam of hope in the deep dark of winter as he is the grandfather of civil rights in our country.
Today--at least where I'm sitting--it's not dark at all. Here, it's bright and clear.
I feel a little guilty, in fact. What, with 70 percent of the country having been under snow last week.
Because these technically-winter-but-actually-summer-like days are in short supply, we have taken the opportunity to dust off and drag out some otherwise seasonal activities, such as ...
sprinkler dashing,
and laundry hanging.
Plus, some season-less, but no-less-beloved pass-times, as well.
Brownie-baking,
and napping.
Ahh...I love winter!
I liked this photo essay. It proves that a picture is worth a thousand words. Very awesome little boy.
ReplyDeleteNice. Catch some of that sunshine and bottle it up for me. Love to all you warm ones.
ReplyDeleteUgh! We are at a high of 34 today. I tried to go running outside instead of the treadmill and that was a really BAD idea!! The good news is that we will be at Disneyland in the warm weather next week!! I just love the pictures of your kids. So sweet!!
