First, there was this sugar plum...
Here's what I recorded about her in her baby calendar:
"11 lbs. 6 oz., 22 1/4 inches long. Sleeps through the night for 10-12 hours at a stretch. Not a good napper--sometimes requiring a drive in the car to get a 45-minute nap in. Likes to look at books with Mama."
Then came tiny sweet pea C...
"11 lbs. Great sleeper! Very patient baby. Likes to push up when on his belly. Rides in sling during mama-tot gymnastics with big sister."
And here's our long, lean eating machine Sir H...
Today he measured 11 lbs. 6 ounces. He is a whopping 24 1/2 inches tall (that's bigger than 94 percent of babies his age, which must mean he is really terrific, right?). He appears to fill up that bouncer seat with legs more so than his siblings at this age.
His big sister elicits the best smiles from HP and he is a pretty content boy. Good napper most days. Sleeps pretty well at night and has a good set of lungs to communicate his displeasure with us when he needs to. We think he looks like his big brother lately.

So precious! I love looking back at the kids in their different stages. I can't believe it has been 2 months already.
ReplyDeleteThese are precious. IMHO 1st photo of HP does not look like either sib while 2nd photo resembles C. But all 3 are just adorable and sweet as can be. Yes, I agree with you that HP looks very leggy in the bouncer compared to the others. I love you guys so much....
ReplyDeleteWas L really holding her head up that well at 2 months? Our L probably still couldn't do that... off to try more tummy time!
ReplyDeleteI've been sorting all the kids' childhood photos and I do see that believe it or not, Nicholas had a small nose like C's when he was a little boy. BTW, I'm sending you guys a stack of old photos and memorabilia. You may do with it whatever you'd like! :)
