Bathed in sunshine, blessed by friendship and clothed in a hot-pink tee compliments of her littlest brother's birthday giving, this beautiful thing turned 9 yesterday.
We celebrated with a girls-only pottery party.
Per her request, they ate hot dogs, chips, fruit and Papa's coconut lemon-chiffon cupcakes with white chocolate curls and raspberry on top.
And because we mostly express our love for a our children through food, dinner was special, too.
Papa made cioppino for after swim ...
and strawberry mousse to boot.
