The day has finally arrived ...
We finished the last bits of remaining work.

We had a little awards ceremony and passed out diplomas.
The workbooks are all filled in. The test scores are sealed and on their way to the district office, set to prove our legitimacy as a bona fide home school.
Brains are full and ready for a break.
There were days when I thought this was the stupidest idea I've ever had. There were days when everything just clicked and I wanted to keep going and going.
At any rate, the kids learned a lot. I learned a lot and we survived. I'm glad we decided to try this out and I'm proud of each of us.

Whew! Bring on the soap operas and bon-bons! It's back to life as just a mother and homemaker ... er something.
Yay! And on to 2nd grade, kindergarten, and more of a cooperative kid! Love you all.
