I've been scrambling to meet with attorneys, keep the house clean for realtor showings, sifting through the classifieds for new rental properties and keeping N updated on the goings-on here on the home front while he's overseas until the weekend.
Needless to say, my focus has not been centered on mothering my three children, which is the work I much prefer.
Today, however, we took the afternoon off from dealing with our current housing crisis. We took L to her first gymnastics class since she was 2 years old. It was exciting and challenging for her. Then we four went out for sushi and played in the sand dunes at the beach. We came home, bathed and nibbled popcorn and read books. I actually got to have fun with my children again.
I can't wait for this mess to blow over so I can go back to fully devoting my attention to these three:
They're cute, and they are much better company than realtors and attorneys.
Oh, I am so glad to hear from Coronado again. Sounds like a blessed day for all of you. I've hesitated to call because I know how stressful this week has been and how precious little time you have for frivolous chatting. Know that you are only a prayer away. (the picture of your 3 cute kids did not appear in the blog :( ).
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in, Nana. Something happened last night with Picasa when I shut down the computer and the photo disappeared from the page. I think it will stay now.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you all!! Wow.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should just get it all over with and take orders to Fort Worth....we'd love to play!
Seriously, I'm so sorry for your recent housing situation. I do pray normal fun days return very soon and stay for good!
I am sorry about everything that is going on with your house! How stressful! I hope things are resolved soon so you can enjoy your cutie pies without worries simmering in the back of your mind.
