Daffodils! They bring springtime to our otherwise concrete-bound home and with one sniff I am instantly transported to the orchard where I used to pick them as a little girl. And they bring a reminder that in just a few days I get to bring my family home with me to the Pacific Northwest for the beginnings of this wonderful season of new life.

You know, I never have smelled a daffodil. But I have a couple dozen from TJ's that are unopened, ripe with potential bloom and I'll be sure to stop and smell them. I love the pics of C and L. Can't wait to see your new park!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are great. I can't believe how big C looks!
